Welcome to the 48th Edition
Hope everyone is keeping well and looking forward to a better year.
Unfortunately, prices for everything have gone up this year, and we may find some doll prices have also risen.
But, I am sure you would make an effort to still buy the treasure of your dreams.
Old doll’s houses are always very interesting to hear about and one in particular is the Olive Garnet Doll’s
House which has a fascinating story. (Page 4).
Little things mean a lot to some collectors. By adding some miniature accessories to your doll, such as a
parasol, bag, pram, or a dog on a lead, would make your doll display more attractive. (Page 34).
People of a certain age, will still remember Butlin’s Holiday Camp. That was the place to go for a holiday in
the 1960’s in England, before the rush for going abroad became popular. Those were the days! (Page 44).
Plenty to read in this edition as usual.
