Another year, and yet we are still with the Corona Virus in 2021. I hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Dolls houses seem to be very popular at the moment and Colette Mansell is on a restoration project with an unusual shape doll’s house by Jessie M.King. (pages 12-15).
The Draper’s Shop (pages 32-33) is a lovely example of a 19th century shop display setting which I could not resist buying, so I decided to treat myself. Some other vintage examples of these room settings range from kitchens, (being the most popular), school rooms, market stalls, butchers shops, living rooms and even inside churches. Not everybody likes these and would prefer a doll’s house instead, but I find them fascinating.
Lots of other interesting articles, as usual, for you to enjoy in this issue.
