Welcome to the 43rd Edition of the Doll Advertiser.
Lots of interesting features in this issue with plenty of colourful pictures, especially from Raphael Tuck.
Dolls houses seem to be a popular trend at the moment and the feature of Moritz Gottschalk, who was vertually unknown until 1982, produced many wonderful dolls houses and toys. One example of his dolls house is on page 6.
Santon Dolls are unusual dolls which Colette Mansell Gray found on her travels in France. Perhaps some of us are not familiar with these dolls, but are certainly interesting.
Chinese door of hope dolls are rare to find and these are for a different kind of collector of specialised dolls.
Of couse, we must not forget Barbie this year being her 60th anniversary. Still as attractive and collectable as ever!
Enjoy your reading in this issue.
There’s plenty to come next time!
