At some time in our life we may want to down size our doll collection for one reason or another. It’s very difficult to part with those precious dolls we have collected over the years. Maree Tarnoska, decided it was time to sell her very special dolls in Paris and some interesting facts about her life and dolls are told by Constance King. Time of the 1960’s was a great era and some clothes designed by Mary Quant can still be found today. Even collectors of the paper dolls were inspired by the 1960’s fashion as in Lorna Currie’s article.
The well known Hansel and Gretel fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm first published in 1812 is a story we should all know…. and what luck that Kitturah Westenhouser kept her childhood Hansel and Gretel house. It’s nice to have lovely memories of the past.
Some amusing postcards by the well known illustrator, Mabel Lucie Attwell, are shown in this Edition, hope you enjoy them!
