Time soon comes around and another year starts. The snowdrops are here in the garden and the daffodils are pushing their way through. Let’s hope we have a lovely summer.
I recently came across an early wooden 1960’s Gee Bee Dolls House complete with all its contents of 1960’s plastic Kleeware furniture. Some people have commented to me that they remember this doll’s house from those years. Although I am not a collecter of doll’s houses, I think I might keep this one to go with my other 3 doll’s houses. Chris Wimsey’s knowledge on the Kleeware company certainly helped me about the dolls made by them.
Kestner dolls are always appealing to collectors and Colette Mansell certainly made a lucky find with her doll No.192
Tom Tierney paper doll books have been popular for many years and Lorna Thomopoulos looks back at his life & career.
Kitturah Westenhouser with her huge collection of Barbie dolls has never ending information on the subject and knowledgeable information about those Barbie Doll Designers.
Finally, have you heard of a Mouse Festival ? – it certainly makes me sit up – I congratulate all those participants for their hard work.
Thank you Wendy Gaunt for letting us hear about this Festival. My cats would love to have been there!
