Welcome to the 34th Edition of the Doll Advertiser.
Time soon comes around and another year starts. The snowdrops are here in the garden and the daffodils are pushing their way through. Let’s hope we have a lovely summer.
Hope you all had a good summer. Some ups and downs with the weather but generally has been quite nice here in Bridlington.
I guess when it comes to cats, my heart melts very quickly, and I couldn’t resist this tiny kitten “biscuit” (see page 40) to add to my family of 5 cats. This will definitely be the last one, I keep saying, or otherwise I will have to open a cattery for stray cats!!
Ken seems to have turned 50 something this year and Barbie is still going strong. Carol’s hard plastic “Miss Rosebud Our Little English Rose” seems a popular subject and Lorna’s “Keep Your Hair On” paoper doll’s hairstyles. David carries on with his 2nd episode of “A Walk through the World of Antique Dolls” – Fascinating! – … and much more reading.
Collectors’ articles keep coming in and are most welcome. If you have a story to tell, let me know.
